Can I use the simplified version to claim mileage if I have a T2200?

I have an employer issued T2200 form and have a fuel allowance of .35/km. Can I use the simplified version to claim mileage, as I don't have all my actual fuel receipts, and my actual cost for fuel was more that given as an allowance

There is no “flat rate” calculation method for business, employment or rental related automobile expenses. To claim those expenses, you must have receipts with the actual costs, as well as a log book that records your business kilometers traveled. There is, however, a simplified way to do a logbook, but that only determines your business use of the vehicle.
