For the past 2 tax years ('21/'20) Turbo tax online cannot process the simplified method ($2/day) Home office credit for people who have a T2200. Is this fixed for 2022?

You can't claim both the flat rate (T777S) and expenses on a T2200 (T777). As per the T777s form:

Complete this form if you have home office expenses related to working at home in 2022 due to COVID-19. See below for examples of
eligible and non-eligible home office expenses or go to canada.ca/cra-home-workspace-expenses. If you have other types of employment expenses, do not use this form. Instead, use Form T777, Statement of Employment Expenses.
