How do I enter income from being a dependent contractor? And can I claim any expenses (the company I worked for paid my internet, phone, and healthcare expenses).

It depends. Are you self-employed/freelance? How did you get paid - did they give you a t-slip?

This CRA page has a guide to help determine if you are an Employee or Self-employed: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/forms-publications/publications/rc4110/employee-self-employed.html

I was a "dependent contractor" for a foreign-based company. I invoiced them for my fees. They did not do a T4 (or any other tax form) for me. As dependent contractor, they paid for my expenses such as communication & travel expenses.
