How do I find a schedule 3 form?

Hi. We are happy to help you how to find the Schedule 3 form for publicly traded stocks. Please follow the below instructions to guide you if you are using TurboTax Online Software:

1.  Go to the Find button on the upper-right of your TurboTax screen.

2. Type " Capital Gains and Capital Gains Deduction Profile " ( it is also known as Schedule 3 form in TurboTax) then click "Go".

3. Select "Enter new dispositions" and select "Mutual Funds/publicly traded shares/stocks" in the box "Type of Captial Property".

4. Enter your publicly traded stocks information and click "Done".

For any further information, you can send us a private message on our social media and get more detailed information about your case. The link below will help you to find us on social media.

How do I find a schedule 3 form?

Hi TurboTax,

Your form is faulty. Dispositions do not always result in a loss just based on the proceeds vs ACB.

You need to give us a way to mark the disposition as triggering a superficial loss.

Otherwise there is no way for us to get the line on Schedule 3 but NOT include the loss in the net loss/gain calculation.
