You can do this in TurboTax by clicking on the “Find” icon in the top right and search for “dep”. Select “Dependants” from the list and then click the “Go” button. Click on “Remove” next to the dependant you want to take off your return. If you have no more dependants left, then you’ll also need to select NO for the question Do you have children or financially support another person?. Click “Continue” to save your changes.
