Open TurboTax
It is common for financial institutions not to issue a T5 slip for less than $50, but you are still responsible for reporting that income to the CRA. However, because TurboTax has already imported this data from the CRA using "Auto-fill my return," you need to delete it to avoid reporting it twice or to stick to your bank's advice, but the software is asking for an upgrade to unlock form editing.
Try clearing cookies and cache or using a different browser to delete T5. If you cannot delete the form because you are on the free version that has "locked" the T5, you can start over to remove imported data without paying for the upgrade. When starting your return again, do not use the CRA "Auto-fill" feature. Manually enter only the data you need.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
