I named my Sole Proprietorship a fictional brand name rather than my own... will this be an issue when filling taxes on a T1 form?

I filled for a sole proprietorship in January of 2018 when I first launched my E-commerce business. I named the sole proprietorship a brand name rather than putting in my own name. I am now starting to file my 2018 taxes for my sole proprietorship, will the name I put for my sole proprietorship effect my taxes?

The name should have no bearing, however you should keep it consistent going forward by using the same name as last year.. Being a sole proprietor, CRA is still going to address by your birth name especially if the company name is not registered.
