I need to file for 2015, 16, 17 and now 2018. Will I have to purchase the online download for each year separately, $100 + multiplied by 4?

TurboTax Online & TurboTax CD/Download are two different pieces of software. TurboTax Online doesn’t require any downloads, as it runs in your web browser. TurboTax CD/Download requires you to download and install the software onto a Windows based computer. Either way, you must pay per year, as each year only has the forms/info for the one year.

The 2015 TurboTax Online service has been discontinued, so only TurboTax CD/Download is available for that year. For subsequent years you can use TurboTax Online or TurboTax CD/Download.
