I renovated my kitchen in my house, can I claim this amount as maintenance for my work space at home expenses on form T777(1)

I renovated my kitchen this year and I am required by my employer to use my home as an office. Can I claim these renovations under maintenance under Form T777 (1) calculation of work-space - in home expenses?

You can only deduct the part of your costs that relates to your work space, and you can’t claim personal expenses. If you don’t use your kitchen for employment purposes, then you can’t claim expenses related to it.
