I used the CD version for previous years taxes. If I purchase the download version, will I be able to transfer prior year data and save / access my own tt file ?

Thank you Mousssi2 for your prompt reply. Please elaborate on your answer. Does the digital download version allow me to store the tt tax return files on my home computer. I understand that the online version does not.
