If the investment income is split 50% - 50% does the investment expenses such as Advisory Fees, also have to be split?

If the investment income is split 50% - 50% does the investment expenses such as Advisory Fees, also have to be split?

You are each responsible for your own percentage/ration of the investment income claimed, as well as expenses claimed. 

Example:  If you split the income 50/50 yet one pays all the expenses than the other claims no expenses or proportionately if % shared.
