Is anyone having trouble keying in their CERB repayment on Turbo Tax? The 2022 option does not have a text box to key in the repayment.

Hello,

Please follow these steps to enter your CERB repayments:

1- once you log in to TurboTax Online and have your return open, click on Deductions on the left hand side navigator

2- A submenu will open, click on Payments profile

3- Click on the Payments profile link

4- You will be taken to a step titled "Payments Profile for 2022"

5- Click on the check box labeled "Repayments of Covid-19 benefits made before January 1, 2023"

After that, follow the steps you enter your repayment information

For 2022 returns:

You may receive a letter from Service Canada regarding repayment amounts which will be found on the T-slips (these letters may come before or after the issuance of the T-slip). It is important to note that entering an amount from both the letter and the T-slip would cause double entry and result in an audit. To prevent errors, TurboTax has limited the entry of these amounts to T-slips only, which are available for download from the CRA with our AFR (auto-fill return). Wait for the T-slip to be issued or mailed to you by Service Canada, or try our AFR feature again in a few days to see if the online portal has updated the information.

If you're claiming the full amount on your 2022 return, enter the amount your repaid on line 23210 (even if you have a T4E slip telling you to enter the amount on line 23200). If you repaid any other benefits in 2022, you can claim those on line 23200.
