As a screenwriter, my agent recieves the money for work I do, deducts his commission, then sends me the rest. Should I claim the amount he recieves, or claim what I get?

Can I claim my new laptop as a business expense? I bought it so I could run my remote virtual assisting business

I need this computer to do any kind of freelancing work. Is this considered a business expense?

Is 4/7 the correct % for the home office/self-employment expense for the following: Self-employment=4 days/wk; Employment job (work from home)= 3 days/wk?

All of my work is home-based, so I need to know how much home-office expense can be claimed for my self-employment. I also work from home 3 days per week for a firm & receive a T4 for that work. I fill out T2200 for that work. Thank you!
