New tax credit for fertility treatment

It is reported that government will give tax credit for fertility treatment in the past 10 years. We did IVF about 8 years ago.  We already submit the claim under the medical treatment at year we did the IVF. I'm wondering if we can claim additional credit this year, and if so, how can we claim for this credit this year?

If you did not have fertility treatments in 2017, you cannot claim the costs on your income tax return.  However, you are able to file an adjustment request for the year that you did receive fertility treatments as long as it was within the last 10 calendar years.
