T5 interest questions

I have a T5 that is related to a USD investment account. However on my T5, the currency is stated as "CAD", so does that mean this T5 interest is already converted to CAD?

Also, just as a generic question for the interest income on T5, does this interest figure include all interest accrued for the year, regardless whether if investment is sold, or it only include the interests that were realized after the investment is sold?

If your T5 states CAD, this means it is already converted to CAD and you do not need to enter any exchange rates.

And if your investment is "sold" or disposed of, you usually receive a T5008 slip relating to that same investment.
