The amount in box 12 on T5 isn't reducing our taxes owing - we have amounts in box 10 and 11
The dividend tax credit is entered on the Schedule 1 line 425 that is where the deduction takes place once your print your return you will see the credit, if you are using the desktop version of turbo tax, you can see the schedule 1 in "forms" and see line 425
