Where do you enter shareholder loan interest benefit? The accountant said schedule 4. I put it in as interest in Turbotax.

You can report a shareholder’s interest loan benefit under interest and other investment income. For more information, please see CRA website for reporting shareholders interest benefit and other investment incomes.

To report a shareholder’s interest loan benefit that’s not on a T-Slip in TurboTax Online, use the Find tool (magnifying glass) to search for investment. Then on the Investment page, check off Interest and Other Investment Income then click continue until you get to that page.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
