My husband has a T2200 as he works from home on a salary. Can we also claim "other employment expenses" like lodging and gas since he had to travel to work meetings?

You can only claim these other expenses if the employer specifies on the T2200 that you must pay for these travel expenses himself. Also, if you receives any type of reimbursement for these expenses, it must be included in his taxable income in order to make the claim.
