Bruce's hearing aids are paid through WCB. Should we be claiming them?

No.  You can only claim the amount that you actually paid and for which you were not reimbursed.  If the hearing aids were totally paid by WCB there is nothing to claim as a medical expense. If, however, these expenses were not totally paid or reimbursed, you can claim the difference.
