Can remaining provincial tuition credits be transferred to a parent living in Alberta if the student has moved to Ontario for a job?

The student attended school in Ontario but filed previously as an Alberta resident as permanent residency was there. The student found a job in Ontario and can no longer use provincial tuition credits to reduce his own income as Ontario has abolished this. However, can the parent still claim transferred tuition credits remaining, as residents of Alberta?

If the tuition is from previous year, then it can’t be transferred in any province, as you can only do this the year the tuition is added. This is the same with Federal tuition.
