Do I enter before-tax RRSP contributions on my income tax claim?
If you had RRSP Contributions deducted from your paycheque, you will report what is shown on the RRSP Contribution slip which you will receive. If your employer "matches" your contributions or contributes a percentage as well, the total amount will be on these slips.
You should also receive two contribution slips - one for Mar to Dec of the tax year, and one for the First 60 days of the following year. BOTH these slips must be included on the tax return you are filing.
