Does a babysitter need to supply me with their complete social insurance number? Or are the last 3 digits OK
The childcare provider needs to provide their full SIN on the receipts issued which you are claiming as childcare expenses.
If CRA does a review and requests proof of expenses, any receipts without a complete SIN number or name of a Registered Childcare facility would likely be disallowed and you would lose that deduction.
