    Does a contribution to RPP count towards RRSP contribution for lowering your taxable income?

    Your RPP contributions shown in Box 20 of your T4 do lower your income in the same way as RRSP Contributions.However, they are reported on a separate line of the tax return - line 207 and RRSP contributions are reported on line 208.
