Does turbotax basic do pension optimizing

TurboTax Basic doesn’t include the Pension Income Splitting Optimizer. However, you can still do a pension split, but you will have to make the calculations on your own. You must also indicate that you have a spouse or common-law partner in the profile (Introduction> Marital Status).

To get to the split income page, click on “Forms”. Then click “Forms” again, and search for “Split” and choose “T1032”, then click the “OK” button.

Thanks, that's what I figured.  Off to buy the Standard version, as I usually do
