Which version of TurboTax are you using? And is it installed in your computer by CD/Download, or is it Online? And did you receive a tax slip (T4A) or just a receipt for the extra contributions?

Hello and thanks for responding/commenting. I am using TurboTax Premier for taxation year 2018-CD/Download version. Additionally, I received an receipt, not a T4A, for the repayment of pension contributions while on leave without pay. In previous years (second year I have received this type of receipt)….I have entered it in as an T4A at line 32 and was planning to do this again, but do not know if this is right!

In Turbo Tax Desktop software, use the RRSP section found in the left hand menu of Easy Steps. Select the "RPP Past Service Contribution" option and then proceed to provide the required information. The deduction will transfer to Line 207 of the tax return.
