How do I put in 'other deductions' I repaid a life insurance loan that I hd been paying taxable gains on. I got a letter saying I could claim $2267.26 deduction
You can do this in TurboTax by clicking on the “Find” icon in the top right and search for “misc”. Select “Miscellaneous Deductions” from the list and then click the “Go” button. On the Other Deductions there are several different boxes. If none of them applies to you, you can go to the bottom of the page and enter your amount (with a description) there. Click “Continue” to save you changes.
