How do i remove the caregiver amount?only checked transfer tuition and education amounts for dependant but turbotax automatically adding caregiver amount.

To remove the Canada caregiver amount, please complete the following steps:

• Open your TurboTax return
• Click the find button at the top of the page; once there type in Caregiver Tax Credit in the search box and click go
• Click enter credit info beside every dependent you have listed
•  Click Continue to save your information
• Uncheck the box besides Canada Caregiver Amount;  you have now removed the Canada caregiver amount
