To remove the amount entered for student loan interest once the amount is entered, please follow the steps that are given below: -
You have to open your tax return file for the year you are filing
Secondly, on the left side of the screen, one section will appear in black color.
Several subsections can be seen in that black section, such as My info, Income, RRSPs, and so on.
Now, you click on the deductions, and then, on the students, and lastly on the student profile.
Change in the white section of the screen can be noticed and scroll down the page after that and there will be one section named get organize and in that section on the fifth line, there should be checked marked if the amount has been entered previously and then, click on the continue.
Click on the done with tuition fees.
Click again on the continue.
Click again on the continue a second time.
One page named student loan interest will appear on the screen.
You must select the option which mentions "Yes, I have eligible student loan interest".
Click on the continue again to move on to the next page.
Here, you will find different boxes for different years and if you have entered the amount of interest before, then now changes can be made here according to the accurate amount.

You can delete any data you entered as long as you haven't filed your return using NETFILE.
To exclude student loan interest from your tax return, please follow the instructions below:
1. From the top right side, choose Find (or the magnifying glass symbol).
2. Type Students into the Find window and select it from the list. Then click Go.
3. Select Student loan interest on the Your Student Profile step, then click Continue until you get to the Student Loan Interest page.
4. When you are on the student loan interest page, click the amount in the fields you have input and then delete to get rid of the amounts you have put in.
