I am an FT Ee & a PT law student. (Law is unrelated to my employment.) In addition to tuition & ed. amounts, can I (and how) claim expenses for law seminars and CE?

Generally speaking, courses unrelated to employment are considered by CRA to be personal betterment and not deductible, but you can discuss it with them. 1-800-959-8281
