I am filing for the first time and would like to know my maximum RRSP contribution
Once you have completed your income tax return and get your Notice of Assessment- it will advise you on there how much RRSP contribution you will have.
To keep track of your RRSP deduction/contribution room, you can contact CRAor access the information in your My Account services. If you are not registered in My Account, you will find this information in your NOA.
