I can’t get past inserting my spouse’s income, it keeps telling me his net income is reached by subtracting from social repayment but he doesn’t have any?

Hi kellym8505!

I'm assuming you're using TurboTax Online, and you're on the screen that says "Tell us more about your spouse."

If your spouse had income, but no social benefit repayments, you can enter the same amount in both of these boxes:

Net income before adjustments from Spouse's 2024 federal tax return (line 23400).

and

Net income from Spouse's 2024 federal tax return (Line 23600)

See screeshot - boxes are indicated with red arrows.

If your spouse had no income, make sure you select "No" to the question "Was you spouse's net income for 2024 zero?".
