I forgot to include a $5000 RRSP redemption on my RRSP for2017. I had them take $800 off the redemption for taxes. What should I do?

That is unfortunate. You will need to do an adjustment to your return. CRA has copies of these slips and may catch it. Wait for your Notice of assessment to see if they already have included it.

If not, you will need to do the adjustment before they do catch it as they do not take kindly to missed income. The first time, you are forgiven, but if it happens a second or third time, they can assign a penalty. YIKES
