I have my employer deposited the 2016 bonus to RRSP on Jan 30,2017 directly. is this counted as 2016 RRSP contribution or 2017? thanks.

March 1st, 2017 is dealine to contribute to 2016 RRSP. So it is part of your 2016 tax return.
