I moved to BC on 21 May 2017. They are asking me to pay back a certain amount for Ontario Trillium Benefit. I am confused because this money is from 2016 return.
I moved to BC on 21 May 2017. They are asking me to pay back a certain amount for Ontario Trillium Benefit. I am confused because this money is from 2016 return.
I am confused because the representative from Ontario is telling me that I have to pay it back and BC gov will pay me for that period whereas I am not getting any money from BC gov for that period.
My understanding is I was getting paid OTB because I filed my income tax return for 2016 and in 2016 I was in Ontario.
And If that's the case then how should I get the money for that duration from BC gov.
