I paid premium on LinkedIn Learning to take online courses. Can I claim that for tuition fees?

No. To claim the fees, the course must have been:

  • taken at a post-secondary education institution

OR

  • for someone 16 years of age or older, who are developing/improving occupational skills and the educational institution has been certified by the Minister of Employment and Social Development Canada

You would also need a tax slip or a receipt that show your eligible exam fees.

This Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) website has more details on what considered an Eligible tuition fee.
