I receive a pension from overseas; Switzerland. The Swiss pension is tax free in Canada. Where do I enter this amount on the tax return? Peter

Step 1: Go to "Find" and type Foreign Income

 

Step 2: Add the amount in the box: " Pension income exempt under a tax treaty "

 

If the amounts on your foreign income slip are reported in a foreign currency, convert them to Canadian dollars before entering them. If the amount was paid at various times throughout the year, use an average annual exchange rate.
