I received my RRSP contribution tax slips and they're not making sense

I need more information about your slips to be able to help you.

You can receive slips for two different periods:

• Jan - Feb 2020 - should be claimed on 2019 return
• March - Dec 2020 - should be claimed on 2020 return
• Jan - Feb 2020 - should be claimed on 2020 return

some financial institutions give these periods a different name:

• First 60 days - refers to Jan - Feb
• The remainder of the year - refers to March - Dec
