I would like to postpone the use of my tuition credits this year, how can I do that on Turbotax Standard? I am having trouble finding where to do this.

It is not possible to carry forward tuition and education credits if you have enough income to use part or all of them for the 2017 income tax year.  They are only carried forward if your income is insufficient to use all of them for the current tax year.

You can check the Student Summary to see how your tuition credits were applied.
