If an employer contributed to a defined contribution pension plan do you claim this

No income tax forms were issued.  But according to Sunlife $1500.00 was contributed to a Defined Contribution Pension Plan in my name.  Do I claim this somewhere on my income tax form.  I would assume it would affect the amount of contributions I can make into my RRSP.

Pension contributions by your employer would be indicated on your T4. As long as you've entered your T4 correctly, TurboTax will calculate the rest. No other information will need to be entered with respect to the pension deduction.
