If my child has an Individual Education program in school (IEP) and he has to get a lap top, can I write that off?
There may be provincial programs that will cover that expense, such as the AT Home program in BC. You should check with your provincial services to see what is available. This expense is not tax deductible. Some peripherals are, but not the laptop. The school OT should be able to put you in touch with someone.
