I keep getting the following error: The amt that you have entered as your emp benefits for your Northern Residence deduction is greater than the amt reported on your T4

If you are claiming multiple trips from a Northern Prescribed zone you must divide the amount indicated on the T4 between each trip. For example an amount in box 32 on your T4 in the amount of $3000. would be split equally between the trips being claimed. If two trips then the employment benefit is $1500 for each trip.
