in what section do i put my student loans in?

i see that there is a section for student loan interets but not a section for just the amount received form loans

Money received from student loans is not taxable, and don't need to be entered on your tax return. For other kinds of student income like grants, scholarships and awards, you'll get a T4A slip to enter into your return.
