Is Rrsp receipt Ammount of retirement savings portion premium the same as rrsp contribution?
Your RRSP Contribution Receipt or slip should have the following information on it:
The "contributor's" name and SIN.
The amount of contribution.
The time period the contribution was made in. Either Mar-Dec (or remainder of the year), or The 1st 60 Days of the Year.
The name of the institution and receipt or plan number.
If these are all listed on the receipt you have received, your "premium" should be the deductible amount. If you are unsure, please contact the provider of the slip.
