Is there a way to assign the tuition credit (from a child) to the spouse with the lower income? We are trying to avoid the mintax on the higher earning spouse.

In the online version of TurboTax you can choose which parent is assigned the Tuition Transfer from your dependant by clicking the Tuition Transfer button while on the Tuition Transfer Amount page. Find this page by going to Deductions > Claims for Dependants > Tuition Amount Transfer.
