Why do I enter both Federal & Provincial amounts when transferring Tuition ect onto parent Canadian 2017 Tax return? On Students only enter provincially - no Federal
Make sure to complete all applicable screens in order to provide CRA with the correct carry forward and transfer information. Under the "Deductions" tab > "Students" > "Tuition Transfer" and complete the information for both Federal and Provincial schedule 11. see screen shot below.
