Missed RRSP Contribution

I missed adding an RRSP contribution slip in 2016.  I'm not sure how to use this in 2017 tax return as CRA is not self populating this missed RRSP contribution for my current year return.

If your RRSP contribution is not being added as an "unused contribution", you will have to make an adjustment to your 2016 tax return. You can do this through your CRA My Account or mail a paper copy to your tax services office.

The question you are commenting on is referring to prior year returns, therefore the tax year in question likely does not apply to your situation. 🙂
