My child has autism. She needs a private school with all the specialists and facilties in order to learn. Is the private school tution fully deductible? Any links?

Thanks for your question. If you have a letter from your medical practitioner stating that your child needs to attend a private school with special needs,  you can claim the fees as a medical expense on your income tax return. If your child’s school falls into a special charitable organization, then part of the fees could be used as donations. Your child’s school will send you a donation receipt if that’s the case.
