My daughter is a high school student with part time work.... does she not get her Ei premiums refunded on her tax filing

last year she did get her ei back on her taxes but this year not?

Whether your daughter's Employment Insurance premiums will be refunded to her depends on whether or not she over contributed to EI based on her income.  It would be advantageous to contact the Canada Revenue Agency to determine if she is entitled to a refund.  The Canada Revenue Agency can be reached at 1 800 959 8281.
