My mom purchased in 2018 hearing aids. in the invoice there is also the cost of the plan lifetime warranty. Can I deduct this amount too?

The cost of the hearing aids can be claimed as a medical expense on the income tax return.  The cost of the lifetime warranty would be considered a personal expense and therefore, cannot be claimed on the tax return.
