My OAS pension amount is again added to my Other Income amount and it shows up there in the summary statement. What can we do to get this corrected?

I reported $ 2,390.00 under Other Income.  In the summary of the return there are $ 9,368.87 under Other Income.  The difference is exactly $ 6,978.87 the amount of my T4A(OAS).  How could this amount slip into Other Income, and how can we correct this glitch/mistake?

If you entered the OAS pension amount shown in Box 18 on a T4A slip, it will incorrectly post to Line 130 - Other Income.

You will need to delete this entry by going to the Income Tab > T-Slips > T4A-Pension, Retirement, Annuity > while on the T4A Summary page, choose to "delete" the slip entered in error.

Now you can re-enter your OAS on the correct screen - T4A(OAS)
